What to know about organic and certified fabrics
Organic cotton
Cotton grown without synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. Our organic cotton fabrics come from GOTS certified suppliers.
Stock or made for you
OEKO-TEX® certified fabrics are usually available from stock. GOTS certified organic fabrics are not always in stock; if they have to be made specially, minimums are higher.
Certified garments
If you need the GOTS label on the finished garment, tell us at the start: every step of the production chain must then be certified. We confirm what's possible for your project.
Recycled fabrics
Recycled nylon and polyester performance fabrics for activewear and sets.
Responsible production
We work with SEDEX-audited production partners.
Your own labels
Woven or printed labels, hangtags and packaging, with the fiber content and care your market requires.
How an organic collection comes together

Organic, OEKO-TEX® or recycled, and whether you need certified fabrics or a certified finished garment.

Fabric and sample
We confirm fabric availability and minimums, then make your pattern and sample in about 2 weeks on average.

Production
Production usually takes 2–4 weeks after sample approval; we confirm the exact date in your quote.
Frequently asked questions
Are organic cotton garments more expensive?+
Usually yes: organic cotton fabric costs more than conventional cotton, and minimums are higher when it has to be made specially. We explain the difference clearly in your quote.
What is the minimum order for organic cotton?+
If the organic fabric is in stock, normal minimums apply: what one roll of fabric yields per design and color. If it has to be made specially, minimums are higher; we confirm once we know your quantity per color.
Is OEKO-TEX® the same as organic?+
No. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 means the fabric has been tested for harmful substances; it says nothing about how the cotton was grown. GOTS covers organic fibers and how they are processed.
Can you make organic kidswear?+
Yes. Baby bodysuits, rompers, kids' t-shirts and sets in organic cotton are among the products we make. Tell us the safety requirements of your market and we plan the trims, prints and labels around them.
