How to fill in a tech pack
- 01
Draw it flat
Sketch the garment laid flat, front and back, as if it were on a table. Show every seam, pocket, stitch line and closure.
- 02
Measure laid flat
Measure a garment you like laid flat. Widths are half measurements: chest width is measured from side to side across the front.
- 03
Place your artwork precisely
Give each print or embroidery a size in cm and a distance from a fixed point, for example 8 cm below the neck seam.
- 04
List every material
Fabric, rib, thread, buttons, zippers, labels and packaging. Anything you leave out is chosen by the manufacturer.
- 05
Add quantities per color and size
This helps the manufacturer plan fabric and confirm your minimum and price.
- 06
Not sure? Leave it blank
A tech pack doesn't have to be perfect. Our pattern team checks every detail and asks about anything missing before your sample.
