How Much Does It Cost to Manufacture Clothing in Turkey? A 2026 Price Guide

25 October 2026

Quality control of finished garments in Istanbul

"How much will it cost?" is the first question almost every brand asks us. The honest answer is that it depends on your design, your fabric and your quantity. But you don't have to wait for a quote to get a realistic idea. This guide shows how a production price in Turkey is built and gives you real ranges from our own price list, as of October 2026.

The three parts of the price

  1. The sample stage: digital pattern, grading, fabric and trim sourcing and the sample itself. You pay it once per style, before production.
  2. The making price per piece: cutting, sewing, trims, finishing, quality checks and packing.
  3. The fabric: priced by kilogram for knitted fabrics and by metre for woven ones.

In our production quote the making and the fabric come together as one price per piece. We show them separately here because they move for different reasons.

What the sample stage costs

One price per style covers the digital pattern, grading, fabric and trim sourcing and the sample. Our averages:

  • Simple styles (t-shirt, tank top, leggings, simple skirt): €200–250, or $275–300
  • Medium styles (sweatshirt, hoodie, dress, trousers, shirt): €300–350, or $325–375
  • Complex styles (jacket, coat, corset, lined or tailored garments): €400–450, or $425–475

Prints, embroidery and garment washes are priced on top. The digital patterns are yours to keep, and if you order production within three months of approving the sample, the sample making fee is deducted from your production order.

Making price per piece: real ranges

These are our indicative making prices for the standard version of each product in one colour, without fabric, as of October 2026:

  • T-shirt: $7–10 at 100 pieces, $4–7 at 300, $2–4 at 1,000
  • Hoodie: $10–14 at 100 pieces, $7–10 at 300, $4–6 at 1,000
  • Dress: $12–16 at 100 pieces, $8–12 at 300, $5–8 at 1,000
  • Trousers: $12–17 at 100 pieces, $8–11 at 300, $5–8 at 1,000
  • Jacket, fully lined: $16–23 at 100 pieces, $11–16 at 300, $8–12 at 1,000

Your own style may have more pockets, zips, a lining or prints. Our production cost calculator lets you add those details and shows the current price for your quantity, in euros or dollars.

What the fabric adds

Knitted fabrics such as jersey, fleece and French terry usually cost about $7–11 per kilogram, and woven fabrics such as poplin, twill and denim about $3–8 per metre, depending on weight, composition and quality. A t-shirt uses roughly a quarter of a kilogram of jersey, a hoodie about three quarters, and a pair of trousers a little over a metre of woven fabric. Special fabrics are quoted separately. Our fabric guide explains the options for each garment.

What makes the price go up or down

  • Quantity: patterns, sourcing and production follow-up are spread over your pieces, so 1,000 pieces cost far less per piece than 100.
  • Colours: each colour is a separate run. More colours at the same total quantity cost a little more per piece.
  • Construction: pockets, zips, buttons, panels, pleats and linings each add sewing time.
  • Prints and embroidery: priced by size, and cheaper per piece on larger orders.
  • Branded labels and packaging: woven labels, hang tags and branded trims are made from 1,000 pieces each, or you can send your own.
  • How clear your design is: a confirmed details list or a tech pack makes the quote precise. With only images, the range is wider.

Minimum order

With a fabric from stock, our minimum is 50 pieces per design and colour. A fabric made specially for you needs at least 500 pieces per design and colour. For small quantities, sizes are split evenly; from 250 pieces per style you can choose your own size split.
